Following the launch of the SAHI strategy at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, the National Health Authority has appointed Prof. Phaneendra K. Yalavarthy to its high-level implementation committee.

The SAHI mission aims to integrate AI into healthcare through ethical, evidence-based, and inclusive practices, shaping an equitable digital health future for India.

On the occasion of World Kidney Day 2026, TANUH AI-CoE launched its Renal Health Vertical on 12th March 2026, advancing kidney care through AI and clinical collaboration.

With Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) affecting over 850M people globally and an estimated 115M in India, the initiative focuses on AI-driven early detection, risk prediction, and proactive disease management.

On the occasion of World Kidney Day 2026, TANUH AI-CoE launched its Renal Health Vertical on 12th March 2026, advancing kidney care through AI and clinical collaboration.

The award, presented by NHA CEO Shri Sunil Kumar Barnwal, marks our second NHA recognition in two months, reflecting continued efforts toward interoperable digital health infrastructure in India.

TANUH team secured Second Position in the Diabetic Retinopathy track at the national-level Federated Intelligence Hackathon, jointly organised by IIT Kanpur, NHA, ICMR, and NIRDHDS.
With 3 models developed by the TANUH team ranked in the top 5, the solution focused on AI-based diabetic retinopathy detection, highlighting TANUH’s leadership in federated learning, responsible AI, and scalable healthcare innovation.
