The short course on "Bridging Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare" is a two-day workshop spanning 29–30 May 2026, bringing together leading experts from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, TANUH AI-CoE, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK. The programme covers a comprehensive range of topics — from foundational concepts in AI/ML and deep learning to cutting-edge applications such as large language models, open datasets, and AI-based medical devices. Participants will also engage with critical themes around AI evaluation, regulatory affairs, and the translation of AI models into real-world clinical use, culminating in a panel discussion and hands-on demonstrations. The course is designed to equip healthcare and technology professionals with both the conceptual grounding and practical insights needed to navigate the rapidly evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare.
